While fans been to Download PUBG for Android as it launched a few months ago exclusively for China, it seems that Tencent is looking to test the waters in the West as the game is currently on the Canadian PlayStore.
We have confirmed that even though the publisher is based in Singapore, it is indeed Tencent which owns the rights to PUBG on the mobile.
If you are unable to download the game due to region errors then you can count download them from the link at the bottom of the page to get them.
If you are unfamiliar with the process of installing APK’s you can follow our earlier guides for installing the APK on to your phone, but since this is a more demanding game and has more files to it, you will need access to the OBB files which can only be acquired through the Google Play Store, but luckily, we have got you covered on that front as well!
This isn’t piracy since the game is free-to-download after all, so you’re going to have to follow the guides listed below to fully install the game.
Follow this guide to install the APK on your phone:
How to Install APK file’s on your phone:
Open your Settings, and navigate to Security. Over here will be an option or a toggle for Unknown Sources. Depending on your OEM, you will either need to check the box or toggle it.
When you have done the above, you need to download and install the APKpure.APK from below.
Find the APK pure icon in your app drawer, launch it, and search for PUBG Mobile.
How to Install the OBB Files:
Once the APK is installed, you have to manually install the OBB files.
You’re going to have to download the OBB files from the links below.
When you have the games OBB folder with you, you need to navigate to the OBB Folder from your computer or a file manager on your phone and find /android/obb/ by default, this is at the root of your file manager.
When you have the OBB folder open, simply paste the whole folder into here. Once it has successfully copied, you should now be able to launch the game.
